If you have a student interested in working in the entertainment industry and they are rocking at minimum a 3.0 GPA, have them apply to the Warner Bros. Reach Honorship Program. Remember, working in the industry can encompass not only in front of or behind the camera talent but also include, marketing, the business and legal end, the art department and the many other arms involved in producing entertainment products.
The Warner Bros Reach Honorship Program is a combination scholarship and internship. Three students will receive $5,000 (which is paid out at $1,250 a year over four years) and a PAID full-time internship at Warner Bros in Burbank starting the summer after they graduate high school and will continue for the next four summers while they are in college.
The deadline to apply is no later than 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1, 2016.
Applications are open to students enrolled in high schools in LA County and Burbank. Don’t wait until the last minute to apply as two teacher recommendations, a writing sample, personal statement and transcripts are needed to apply.
