The National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) is pleased to announce its 2017 Los Angeles Performing & Visual Arts College Fair. This program is an important resource for fine arts students interested in pursuing undergraduate and graduate programs of study in the areas of music, theatre, dance, visual arts, graphic design, film production, and other related disciplines. The fair will take place at UCLA – Ackerman Union on Sunday October 29 , from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
All participants are encouraged to register prior to attending this event. This will make navigating the fair and collecting information from multiple colleges and universities much easier. By registering, students can print a bar coded confirmation to be used on-site at the fair as an electronic ID. (this makes it way easier to sign up to get info from colleges)
Register at www.nacacnet.org/pva.
For students interested in attending a historically black college or university, check out the Black College Fair at the Long Beach Convention Center from 2 – 6 pm on November 11, 2017. Students will be able to speak to more than 50 representatives from HBCU’s about the admissions process as well as attend workshops about financial aid. The event is free, sign up here to RSVP and enter to win a drawing to win a free spring tour of black colleges.
