We do a lot for our kids to make sure they get into a good school. Making sure they get good grades, have plenty of extracurricular activities, volunteer, all that good stuff. College prep is starting earlier and earlier. They know, education matters…to us. Why does it matter to them?
Unigo’s Education Matters Scholarship offers students 13 and over the opportunity to share their thoughts. In 250 words or less, they have to answer the question:
“What would you say to someone who thinks education doesn’t matter, or that college is a waste of time and money? ”
The winner will receive $5,000 and will be notified by or around February 29, 2016. The deadline to apply is November 30, 2015.
In order to be eligible to apply, applicants should:
- Be thirteen (13) years of age or older at the time of application
